Win a vinyl copy of the new Neil Young box set!

The contents of Neil Young's Official Release Series #6 box set.

We have been promising that paid subscribers will be eligible for our first-ever vinyl giveaway. Well, that day has arrived—it’s giveaway time at last, and that’s just the beginning, as we’re planning to hold similar giveaways for our paid subscribers every month going forward.

The prize for our first month is a really good one: It’s a new, sealed, numbered copy of the recently released Official Release Series Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 by Neil Young, the sixth in a series of multi-disc boxes containing gorgeous reissues of Young’s back catalog. This one’s got eight LPs that contain four of the albums Neil Young released during an incredible run in the 1990s: 1992’s Harvest Moon, a laid-back acoustic record with Young at his most subtle and delicate; 1993’s Unplugged, a live album recorded for the MTV show; 1994’s Sleeps with Angels, in which Young and longtime backing band Crazy Horse deal with ghosts, Kurt Cobain being one of them; and 1995’s Mirror Ball, a loud-volume set that Young recorded with the band Pearl Jam.
