Every month, our paid subscribers are eligible to enter and win some very cool vinyl. So far, we’ve given away a Neil Young box set and a set of R.E.M. one-step test pressings. And this month, we’re giving away a brand-new copy of one of my favorite albums from last year’s RSD Black Friday: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ The Live Anthology: From the Vaults - Vol. 1.

This fantastic double LP collects live tracks from the years 1978 to 2006 and was originally released as a limited-edition bonus CD on Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker’ 2009 box set The Live Anthology. Black Friday 2025 marked its first-ever appearance on vinyl—in a limited, numbered edition 0f 11,000 worldwide.

This set is now nearly impossible to find in stores, but we’ve got a brand-new sealed copy (this one’s numbered “000146”) to give away to someone on our paid tier. The disc was expertly mastered by Chris Bellman of Bernie Grundman Mastering and was immaculately pressed on turquoise vinyl at Record Industry in the Netherlands. It sounds terrific.
